Description

Thick and thin Art Yarn in natural white wool from our pedigree flock of Poll Dorset sheep. This yarn was processed by hand from raw fleece. ‘Slubs’ of pink wool & a tiny amount of silk are naturally dyed with cochineal and logwood. The yarn was handspun by me here, on our farm, in Northern Ireland.

The yarn is spun as a thick and thin singles from Poll Dorset wool and has been spiral plyed with a cotton thread.

About 7 wpi, depending on where it is measured.

I recommend gently hand washing your finished item in lukewarm water and be aware that it is possible that some slight bleeding of colour may occur.
